Description: Some Minecraft servers (especially modded) use an insane amount of resources when nobody is playing. lazymc helps by stopping your server when idle, until a player connects again. As a proxy between clients/servers, lazymc acts as a proxy. It receives all incoming status connections and relays/proxies them until the server is started. All this happens without them even realizing. - Very efficient, lightweight & low-profile (~3KB RAM) - Supports Minecraft Java Edition 1.7.2+, supports modded (e.g. Forge, FTB - Configure joining client occupations: - Hold, Kick: hold clients when server is starting, relay when ready without them being aware - Forward, forward clients to another IP once server starts Lobby, keep client in emulated servers with lobby world, teleport when ready (experimental*). - Linux or macOS Windows - Minecraft Edition 1.6+ – Windows: RCON (automatically Managed) Note: You need to have access the system to run lazymc. You won't likely be able set this up if you use a Minecraft shared hosting provider that has a customized dashboard. Use These instructions are for Linux and macOS. You can find Windows instructions here. The More You Know The More You Don't Know Download the most recent release page to get the correct binary for your system. Place the binary into your Minecraft server directory. You can rename it if needed. Open a terminal, go to the directory, and make sure you can invoke it: When lazymc is set-up, change into your server directory if you haven't already.
